There is no direct flight to Bir. The nearest airport that connects Bir to the rest of the world is Kangra Airport, which is 67.6 km. away from it.

You will reach bir one day prior to journey at your own expense.
Start early in the morning from Bir. SUV will drop us to Billing & from here our trek will start. Trekking is easy till Raj gundha village which is 10 km from Billing. Trek is passing through forest of Deodara, Rhododendron, blue pine, green Oak, brown Oak and silver fit trees. Trail gradually goes till 2700 mts at Chainna Pass mod, later trail goes for downhill till Raj gundha
Start early morning towards our journey. We will reach Plachak after trekking for 2 hrs. Plachak is on the other side of the river Uhl, which can crossed with improvised bridge. Trek from plachak to Johardi is gradually gaining altitude. Trail is narrow at few spots and through thick forest, later we cross tree line and trekking in open valley. Night stay at Johardi.
Panihartu is at 3700 mts from sea level. Panihartu is the base of Thamsar pass. We trek for more hour to gain more altitude till Bhed pal. Trek from Panihartu to Bhed pal is steep uphill. Bhedpal has front view of Snow covered mountains in front and Thamsar pass begins.
Start early to cross Thamsar pass in the morning. It will take 2-3 hrs to reach at Thamsar pass which is at 4735 mts from sea level. Trek covered with clouds at most of the time.
In a clear day one can see Manimahesh kailash from the top.Both the side of the Thamsar pass has lakes and snow patches all over. Other side of the pass is down hill in moraine area and bit of snow patches to cross. All trek is over the rock fall and stones in the trail. It will take 3-4 hrs to reach Udgh which is our overnight journey stop for the people travelling from Bada Bhangal village to Bir Billing. Udgh has a small dhaba for locals crossing pass.
Overnight stay in Dome tents at Udgh.
Trek is downhill till the village, it will take 3-4 hrs ( 8 kmrs, 2550 mts) to reach village, Reach early at Bada Bhangal Village and spend some time in exploring village in tribal region, their life style, culture, houses. Village has a satellite phone and one shop for basic food items. People are quite helpful. Bada Bhangal village is the origin of river Ravi. This is the place where many streams confluence with Kali hani river and become Ravi.

Start early morning for our return journey. Same route will be followed to reach Udgh. Night Stay at Udgh
We will again cross mighty Thamsar Pass to reach Beautiful Panarthu. Night Stay at Paniarthu.
Start early morning to reach Rajgundha. Same route will be followed. Night stay in Rajgundha.
