Uday Katoch began his journey not in business, but in competitive cricket — with a proud selection to the prestigious BCCI U-19 NCA Camp in 2012, one of the highest honors for an aspiring cricketer in India.
He also:
Represented Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) at the School Games Federation of India (SGFI)
Played for Himachal Pradesh University in inter-university tournaments
Competed at national, state, and district levels multiple times
But eventually, a new kind of passion took over — the mountains.
Together with his partner Ekta, Uday began riding into the Himalayas with no plans, just curiosity. What followed was a decade-long journey, revisiting some of the toughest and most beautiful regions multiple times:
Himachal, Ladakh, Zanskar, Kashmir, all 7 Northeast states (including Sikkim & Arunachal), and Bhutan.
