 Winter expedition to Spiti is an extreme adventure, offering breathtaking snowy landscapes and a unique experience of the region’s rugged beauty. However, winter conditions in Spiti can be harsh, with temperatures dropping as low as -30°C, road closures due to heavy snow, and limited access to basic services.

  • Road Accessibility: The Shimla route is generally the only way to access Spiti in winter, as the Manali route via Rohtang and Kunzum passes is closed due to heavy snowfall.
  • Power and water shortages: Frequent power cuts and frozen water supply are common in winter. Running water is not available in winters in Spiti region. Hence, 1 warm water bucket for 1 room will be provided by Hotels. Carry power banks and water bottles.
  • Temperature can plummet dramatically, so carry heavy winter gear, including thermal layers, high-quality jackets, gloves, and insulated boots.
  • Accommodation: Only a few Hotels available  in Kinnaur & Spiti region during Winters. We are providing Good Hotels with Heating facilities for your comfortable stays unlike other company/agents
  • Health & Acclimatization: The altitude combined with harsh weather can lead to altitude sickness and other health issues. Acclimatize properly and carry essential medications along with portable oxygen if needed.
  • Limited Connectivity: Mobile network and internet connectivity are scarce. Be prepared for communication challenges and inform someone of your itinerary beforehand.
